假如當初

究竟我們是由於悲傷才聆聽音樂, 還是聆聽音樂使我們悲傷?
電影High Fidelity裡的問題, 在短短3秒鐘內一瞬即逝, 卻在我腦海裡, 像跳線的黑白片, 擦過我的思緒。然後電影主角面對鏡頭, 那對眉頭深深鎖住難題的陰影。我看到了一樣的苦惱。

令人血脈沸騰、手舞足蹈的歌, 很輕易地從血管揮發掉, 跟酒精很配。
令人傷心的歌, 每個音符都刻在心瓣上, 隨著節奏緩緩移動, 我們的心也跟著一下一下地抽痛。

縱使我能夠快樂地隨著Beatles的Twist And Shout起舞, 然後又跟著Joe Strummer大叫" NO ELVIS, BEATLES OR THE ROLLING STONES IN 1977!", 但當我頹唐失意, 再強勁的音樂也當不了我的續命符。我只能尋找與心情對味的音樂。對我來說, 音樂更像是調味料。對的食物需要對的調味, 明明是朱古力布甸, 就不可強行灑一把鹽。碗仔翅只配胡椒粉和醋。音樂只可渲染你的情緒, 但不能夠180度u型轉向。這是很暴力的(雖然我老在嘗試...)。

由06年中至今, 聽過十數個樂隊, 然而真正into it的, 只有4隊。Into 和 like是兩碼子事, like是別人問你覺得這樂隊如何, 你會回答「幾好丫。」。Into, 你會往回追索他們的歷史, 試圖經歷一切無緣置身其中的場景, 假裝自己跟他們一同走過那段歲月;into是很花心思的。

那4隊樂隊, 我都是由眼淚滴下的一刻, 開始迷上的。
那就是所謂的, 只有傷心, 才刻骨銘心吧。
今晚我的心瓣上, 從此以後, 多了Suede這個名字。

半夜2時, Suede憑著The Wild Ones, 問我有沒有後悔過。後悔在機場沒有擁抱他, 任由他獨自回德國; 那次無聊的爭吵, 吵得你離開了我; 假如當初我拉著你的手, 說一聲對不起, 只是一聲對不起, 一切就不一樣了吧?我就不用等你轉了彎, 看不見了, 才偷偷地哭。如果你留下來, 我們會照樣睡在鋪上棉被的地板上, 講笑話到天亮; 如果你留下來, 我們再逃到便利店叮一個飯; 如果你留下來, 我想再看你表演寫個「樹」字, 你唯一會寫, 又最有信心寫的中文字。

根本就不能重頭再來呀。
東邪西毒的黃藥師, 得到一瓶酒, 一瓶叫醉生夢死的酒。據說, 喝下去, 就能抹去回憶, 拋開過去, 快快樂樂地做人。只是, 能叫人醉生夢死的, 不是最難忘掉嗎?生生死死, 都在失去理性的酒醉與夢境中渡過, 不會更斷腸嗎?

The Wild Ones叫我不記得忘記, 往事的音符輕飄飄地, 從遂漸泛黃的年份盪到眼前, 它們那麼實在, 我以為會飄到明天去。我後悔, 於是我想如果, 然後那一劃刻得更深了。
